ISO 27001
Rakoo has been ISO 27001 certified since 2018. This certification is a globally recognized standard for the careful management of information security. With the ISO certification, all our (work) processes are assessed to ensure maximum information security and continuous improvement.
Our infrastructure
For our hosting, we consciously choose Google Cloud. This allows us to set up our infrastructure in a modern way. Google Cloud's data centers have leading certifications such as ISO and SOC II. Rakoo exclusively uses Dutch data centers, ensuring that all data remains within the European Economic Area (EEA), which is an important requirement.
Development of Rakoo
From the initial concept up until the release, security is a fundamental aspect at Rakoo. Impactful new features or other improvements to the online academy are linked to an impact analysis and/or a DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessment).
In addition, we follow DTAP (Development, Test, Acceptance, and Production) principles. This means that we keep the development and testing environment of Rakoo completely separate from the acceptance and production environment. Since our acceptance environment is identical to the production environment, it is easy to test releases before going live. This ensures a secure system.
